Planning Supervisor Duties
Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994, any
construction related project likely to be more than 30 days on site and/or to
involve more than 4 persons requires a Planning Supervisor who shall:
- Coordinate the health and safety aspects of the project design
- Advise the HSE of the nature and dates of the works
- Produce a pre-tender health and safety plan for the proposed works
- Approve the Principal Contractor’s construction phase.
- Prepare and issue the file stage plan at completion
Portfolio Management
- Management of both scheduled and non-scheduled works including
maintenance, repair works and statutory periodic inspections.
- Quality audit of maintenance contractor performance and equipment
condition
- Client support for all ongoing technical and compliance issues.
- Payments approval and budget planning.
